Monograms for Everyone

I decided to take on the challenge of CAS cards, clean and simple. This alphabet was just screaming to be used, so I decided to make monogram cards. I had no idea how much fun they would be to make! The above set was made using Roses In Winter, which is probably my all time favorite stamp set!

This set of cards took a little more time, only because I decided to emboss the card. I didn't stamp any images, just the monogram letter.

And this set of cards was the most challenging. The design is simple enough, but I could not get the colors to work. After 16 cards, I managed to get 10 decent cards!

Christmas Gift Card Holders

I love this Sizzix die! It makes me want to give out gift cards!
I even stepped out of my comfort zone, and actually used some ribbon on the front of the card. (I'm afraid if I use it, it will be gone, and I won't have any more!)

2010: New Year, New Plan

As I step into the next century, I am determined to get my hobbies in order!

Resolution #1: Stamp something every day!
  • Jan 1: stamped one Rubbernecker image & one Our Daily Bread image
  • Jan 2: stamped Branch out image with CTMH sentiment, turned out poor
  • Jan 3: embossed a card & used ODB image
Resolution #2: Read 10 books this year
  • Reading: Fearless, Max Lucado
Resolution #3: Get Scrappin' stuff organized. I really want to dwindle down the photos in boxes, and put them into albums!

Resolution #4: Keep this blog updated! Now this may prove to be the biggest challenge!
  • January posts......

Resolution #5: Get back into my jeans! This isn't craft related, but I hate shopping for jeans, so I'd rather try to fit into my current jeans!
